The registration at yellow1 consists of just a few steps in which you open a user account.
Step 1:
First you enter your first name and surname (optional), select a user name and a password, and enter your email address. Mandatory entries are marked with * and must be completed at the time of registration. Yellow1 will at no time make these entries accessible to a third party.
Step 2:
You will receive an email with an activating link. When you activate via this link you are able to enter a user account a) without commercial entry, and b) with commercial entry. Should you not receive the email, check your spam folder to see if it was possibly filtered out.
If you receive an error message during the registration, take note of the message marked at the respective places. They may provide hints to the problem and possible solutions. Possible reasons for error messages:
- the entered passwords are incorrect
Reminder emails are part of the registration process, and will only be received, if you aborted the registration process or your email address is yet to be confirmed.
The reminder emails serve to complete the registration process.
Yes, you may change your data directly in your profile at a later date. Some of changes, e.g. your company number) must be confirmed by support.
To log in, you need your user name and the password entered at the time of registration.
Should you have misplaced or lost your user name or password, you can request these directly via the “Log-in” link on our start page.
Should your email address have changed and, therefore, the password or user name cannot be automatically sent to you, you may contact our support via the contact form.
Changes to your email address can be made in the user area under “My account”.
There may be several reasons for this:
a) You have entered the wrong password/user name:
In that case, use Log-in to request a link that requests a newly generated password/your user name. You will need only to enter your email address or your user name and the link will be sent to the provided email address. You can then select a new password or log in with the new user name.
b) You receive the error message that you must accept cookies
Please check, if your browser can accept cookies and, if necessary, delete your cookies. You can find this function in Internet Explorer: ”Tools → Internet Options → Delete cookies” and in Firefox: “Tools → Options → Privacy → Cookies → Delete“. Should cookies not be accepted on other websites as well, check which applications are running in the background. Cookies may be blocked by third party software. In this case, consult your system administrator.
c) You receive the message “User name and/or password incorrect”.
Please check, that your combination of user name and password is correct. Please check the use of lower and upper case! Should user name and password be correct, the reason may be that cookies in your browser are deactivated. Please activate these for unrestricted use of yellow1. The setting to activate cookies is found on Internet Explorer in the menu “Tools → Internet Options → Privacy → Advanced”. On Firefox you may make changes via “Tools → Options → Privacy → Advanced”.
